The following recreational activities are allowed at Hinze Dam:

  • Mountain biking (with permit)
  • Horse riding (with permit)
  • Boating (electric or manual powered only)
  • Fishing (with permit)
 
Picnicking facilities and some walking, horse riding and mountain bike riding tracks are closed until the completion of the Stage 3 dam level in December 2010.
